The Development Agreement provides that minor <br /> amendments to the approved plan may be referred to the Development Review Committee, which consists of <br /> the Community Development Director and the two Planners. Because this is a newly proposed sign, which <br /> was not included within the original PUD agreement, Council review is required. <br /> The permit application is for a 36.8 square foot (4' x 9') internally illuminated wall sign. The applicant has <br /> submitted a color rendering for review. This proposed wall sign, in addition to the existing site signage, will <br /> total less than the maximum sign square footage for the B-6 District,which is based on the property frontage <br /> which permits up to 900 square feet of signage. <br /> Planning Staff Recommendation: <br /> Staff recommends approval of the Signage Plan amendment. Staff further requests authorization to approve <br /> future modifications to the sign plan. <br /> Council Action: <br /> Council should consider one of the following options: <br /> 1. Approve the sign permit as proposed, and authorize Development Review Committee to approve <br />�P�' a future sign amendments provided they are consistent with the provisions of Section 78-1468 <br /> � � � regarding B-1 requirements which are applied to B-6 properties. <br /> 5� 2.
