Y � <br />` SUBSURFACE EXPLORATION PROGRAM <br /> PROPOSED ORONO MUIVICIPAL FACILITIES <br /> ORONO, MINNESOTA <br />- TCT #4220 92-4026 <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> 1.1 Project Information <br /> We understand the proposed construction will consist of new municipal buildings for the City of Orono. <br /> Initially, plans are to construct the public works building with the other facilities constructed at a later - <br />'° date. In this report, we present site prepazation for each of the buildings. Preparations for roadway and <br /> a water storage tank are include� in a separate report. <br />� <br /> 1.2 Scope of Services <br /> Our scope of services for this project was in accordance with your letter to proceed dated September 28, <br /> 1991, and a boring location plan sheet provided to us. Based on this, our scope of work was limited to <br /> the following: � <br /> 1. Perform 16 standazd penetration borings to various depths to explore subsurface groundwater <br />` and soil conditions. ' <br /> 2. Perform a limited laboratory test program to assist in classification of the soils and <br />" determining pertinent soil properties. <br /> 3.
