♦R�, A J <br /> �� ,�. • . <br /> � <br /> . _ � A,. : � c;.t� o� oR,oNo <br /> d �:� <br /> � 5d � <br /> - ' } ���,` RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �r,�� � NO: 156 3 <br /> �;; s�'a , <br /> � - • •h,. <br /> ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND - <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR CARMAN BAY SEWER PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, on July 11, 1983, the City Council adopted <br /> - Resolution #1503 ordering preparation of a feasibility report . <br /> regarding proposed sanitary sewer extensior_s to serve five properties <br /> on the east side of Carman Street north• af Carman Bay, L'ake Minnetonka; <br /> and <br /> � • WHEREAS, on August 8, 1983, the City Council adopted Resolution <br /> � #1511 accepting the feasibility report and calling for a public hearing <br /> on such improvement; and <br /> WHEREAS, direct mailed natice to .all affected property owners <br /> and ten days published notice of°the hearing was given as required by <br /> law, and the hearing was heid thereon on the 22nd day of August, 1983 , <br /> . and was continued _until_-the 12th day of September, 1983, at which times <br /> all persons desiring to be heard .were given an opportunity to be <br /> heard thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, the three property owners involved have decided and <br /> agreed to limit the project to three properties described as : <br /> PID 20-117-23 12 0027 <br /> . PID 20-117-23 12 0028 <br /> PID 20-117-23 12 0043; with the remaining two properties <br /> originally included in the feasibility report to be directly sewered <br /> by existing sewer stubs in place in Carman Street. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br /> City of Orono, pursuant to Chapter 429 of Minnesota Statutes, does <br /> hereby order Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. , City <br /> Engineers, to prepare plans and outline specifications for the extension <br /> of municipal sanitary sewer to the above described three properties <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. The project shall include one central duplex, package- <br /> type grinder pumping station with a force-main to the existing <br /> sewer system in Carman Street and gravity lateral and service <br /> lines to the subject three lots according to the feasibility • <br /> report dated August 5, 1983 , as amended by letter dated <br /> • August 17, 1983. Service shall be provided to the two existing <br /> residences at 2470 and 2480 Carman Street, with a stub <br /> provided for future connection of the intervening vacant lot. <br />
