Bloms, husband and wife , <br /> (hereafter "the appl icants" ) have an interest in the property located <br /> at 4195 Forest Lake Drive within the_ City of Orono (hereafter "City") <br /> and legally described as Lot 6, Block 3, Forest Arms Country Club <br /> Addition (hereafter "property") ; and <br /> .Whereas, the applicants have applied to the City for a <br /> variance to municipal zoning code section 34.452 to permit the <br /> construction of a single family residence on a property that consists <br /> of approximately 16,95� square feet instead of the required 43,56H <br /> square feet. . <br /> Now, Therefore Be It Resolved by the City Council of Orono , <br /> Minnesota : ' <br /> • Findings <br /> 1 . This application was reviewed as zoning file no. 780 . <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B Single Family Lakeshore <br /> Resi.dential zoning district. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on <br /> September 19, 1983, and recommended approval of the proposed <br /> variance based upon the following findings: <br /> a) The residential development of the property would be <br /> consistent with the pattern of the surrounding neighborhood <br /> development. <br /> b) The property is sewered and has been assessed one sewer <br /> unit. <br /> c) The proposed improvement of the property will require no <br /> additional variances . <br /> d) The adjacent and most a�ffected property owners within the <br /> neighborhood are in complete support of the application. <br /> 4. The City Council has considered this �pplication including <br /> • the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission, <br /> • reports by City staff, comments by the owner and other interested <br /> page 1 of 5 <br />
