Lyle Oman says a boardwalk, which is what your deck would have to <br /> become, is only allowed over wetlands. In looking at the photo Lyle took when he was at your <br /> property, we suggest you change the alignment of the part of your dock that runs between the <br /> share and the area where your boat is moored so it runs directly from the bottom of the steps. <br /> This would eliminate the need to walk along the lakeshore. I'm enclosing a copy of that photo <br /> marked up to show what we suggest. <br /> We need your estimate of the cost of altering the stairway before we can complete processing of <br /> your permit application to narrow the stairs.
