Melanie Curtis
From: Melanie Curtis
Sent: Friday, August 17, 2012 9:21 AM
To: Lili McMillan (lilim@mac.com)
Cc: Jessica Loftus
Subject: 3508 Ivy Place - Update
Lili
After I sent the email yesterday, I met the neighbors (Mark and Leisel Pfleghaar) on the site. They had concerns about
the trees being planted within the City ROW next to 3508 Ivy Place. Their concern specifically was that the walking access
to the lake not be blocked. They were there when I stopped out to look at the tree placement and talk to the landscaper.
It seems that prior to my inspection the Pfleghaars had convinced the landscaper/builder to re-locate a few of the trees to
provide better access to the lake and were satisfied with the new locations. I verified the trees were generally placed
where the City had expected them to be placed. The approved plan showed 3-4 new spruce & pine trees to be planted
by the owner of 3508 Ivy Place. The builder called me yesterday AM to ask if they could plant additional, similar trees
along the ROW property line to continue the demarcation down toward the lake. I allowed the additional trees provided
the ROW was not blocked, etc consistent with the original plan.
As far as I know today everyone is satisfied with the result of yesterday's discussion/plan.
Let me know if you have any questions.
