I just left you a VM with more detail. Attached is a sketch of the train depot/playhouse that I'd like to
put on a concrete slab in my backyard at 525 Hunter Pass in Orono. I have a hobby company based in
Plymouth, MN that makes small riding trains. This building was used a few years ago at the MN State Fair at an
exhibit there. It's very well built—in fact, it originally cost $26,000 to construct.
The depot has the same roof pitch as my house and identical cedar shake shingles. I think it would look really
nice in the backyard. We'd be using it as a playhouse and storage for my grandchildren's trikes, pool toys, etc.
The signs indicated on the plan on the roof and the sides would not be used—well, except for the one on the end
which now says "SAINT PAUL." I'd for sure change it to say "ORONO" ar maybe "WAYZATA." ;-)
I hope that this is OK with the city. Just let me know if any kind of a permit is required.
Thanks in advance.
Mark
Mark D. Strobel
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
3
