A summary of the inspection <br /> is belo�v. <br /> Septic Tank Condition <br /> 1. Pumpout needed within one year(last pumpout 8/4/97) <br /> The septic system is non-compliant due to a lack of a three foot separation distance between the bottom <br /> of the drainfield to the seasonally high watertable. The three foot requirement is a State Code,not a Cit�• <br /> Code. A soil boring was conducted to determine the depth of the seasonally watertable. The sepric <br /> system must be replaced by December 31,2010. <br /> Enclosed is a list of state licensed septic contractors who work in Orono on a regulaz basis. Also <br /> enclosed is a fact sheet explainin�how a septic system functions properly.
