REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 2 – FARVIEW LANE SEWER PROJECT <br /> <br />Murphy moved, Rahn seconded, to approve Request for Payment No. 2 for the Farview Lane <br />Sewer Project to Castrejon, Inc., in the amount of $32,561.65 for the Farview Lane Sewer Project. <br />VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br /> <br />*11. 2008 MEETING SCHEDULE <br /> <br />Murphy moved, Rahn seconded, to approve the 2008 meeting schedule. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br /> <br />12. WITHDRAW FROM MEMBERSHIP WITH THE WEST HENNEPIN RECYCLING <br />COMMISSION <br /> <br />Moorse noted two of the factors in the dissolution of the commission are that two of the cities have <br />dropped their membership in the West Hennepin Recycling Commission, and the Commission <br />Administrator will be resigning effective March 31, 2008. <br /> <br />Murphy asked whether the City is withdrawing or whether the commission is being disbanded. <br /> <br />Moorse stated the commission is disbanding. <br /> <br />Murphy expressed a concern with the way the resolution is worded that it conveys the impression the <br />City is withdrawing from the West Hennepin Recycling Commission and that the language should be <br />modified to reflect that the commission is being disbanded. Murphy recommended that an additional <br />whereas be incorporated to reflect that the other cities are also withdrawing because the commission is <br />being disbanded. <br /> <br />McMillan suggested a common resolution between the remaining cities be reached and that the title of <br />the resolution be changed. <br /> <br />Moorse suggested this item be tabled to allow Staff to amend the resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />Item #02 - CC Agenda - 12/10/07 <br />Approval of Council Minutes 11/26/07 [Page 25 of 32]
