The inspection <br /> was prompted because of safety concerns with whether or not the <br /> requirements of the City of Orono are being met ta have this <br /> residence safe and secure for continued habitation. As a guideline, <br /> i used the letter from Douglas L. Fell, P.E. dated November 13, 2002 <br /> which was accepted by the City on Niay 5, 2003 as a check list. <br /> The inspection took place on November 25, 2008 at 2: 00 p.m. I was <br /> met at the site by Mr. John Hollander and his attorney, Nir. Gregory <br /> Lang. The following items as noted have not been completed: <br /> CLEANING: <br /> 1 Remove all trash from the interior of the building; living room <br /> and front porch. <br /> 2) i�'ash all interior surfaces: floors, walls, ceilings in living <br /> room and front porch; not done. <br /> FLOOR LOAD REDUCTIOI�S: <br /> 1) Remove all store items that are concentrated in areas of the <br /> floor. <br /> 4j Remove one (1) of the pianos �rom living room. <br /> FOUNDAT I ON I�dORK: <br /> 4 Provi e new treated wood plates between any new grout or boulders. <br /> 5) Provide a treated double 2x8 header spanning over the front base- <br /> ment wall window. <br /> 6) Foundation wall repaired near bot�om of stairs. <br /> 7) Provide continuous foundation system around all basement wall <br /> windows (fill voids around windows) .
