� � � <br /> j�� O�_\? , <br /> � ' V <br /> O O \ <br /> ��� - � CITY of �RONO <br /> �, ti l� <br /> � G�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �kEsx� No. 4 7 � `a <br /> _ <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION 1 (B); SECTION 10.56, <br /> SUBDIVISION 16 (C) (6); AND SECTION 10.03, SUBDIVISION 9 (E) <br /> FILE NO. 02-2742 <br /> WHEREAS, Douglas Smith and Roban Smith, (hereinafter "the applicants") are <br /> owners of the property located at 4195 Highwood Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the <br /> City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lots 26, 27 and 28, Highwood Lake Minnetonka, Hennepin County, Minnesota <br /> (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied for variances to Municipal Zoning Code <br /> Section 10.22, Subdivision 1 (B) and Section 10.�6, Subdivision 16 (C) (6) to permit an <br /> encroachment into the average lakeshore setback for a 10' addition to the principal residence for <br /> additional living space to include the kitchen, mud room and bedrooms, and a variance to Section <br /> 10.03, Subdivision 9 (E) to permit an addition to the detached garage located 9' from the street <br /> property line, where a 15' setback is required; and <br /> `VHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance �with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearin� on January 22, 2002, at which time all persons desiring to be <br /> heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> 1�linnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application �vas revie�ved as Zoning File #02-2742. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B, Single Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br /> District. <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br />
