'7 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING �� � � '7 <br /> VARIANCES TO <br /> MUNICIPAL ZONTi�'G CODE <br /> SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION 2 AND <br /> SECTION 10.56, SUBDIVISION 16 (L) (2) AND <br /> SECTION 10.03, SUBDIVISION 9 (D) <br /> FILE #2402 <br /> WHEREAS, Glen and Beverly Sauer (hereinafter "the applicants") are owners <br /> of the property located at 4104 Highwood Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") <br /> and legally described as follows: <br /> See attached, (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published and mailed notice in accordance with Minnesota <br /> Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning Commission <br /> held a public hearing on August 17, 1998, at which times all persons desiring to be heard <br /> concernin� this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 and Section 10.56, Subdivision 16 (L) (2) and <br /> Section 10.03, Subdivision 9 (D) to permit construction of a garage within 7' of the front lot <br /> line �vhere 10' is required and closer than the principal structure to the lot line, and to allow <br /> 48.4% hazdcover (within the 75-250' lakeshore setback) where 25% is allowed. <br /> NO`V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FIl�'DINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2402. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B Zoning District, where 1 acre or 43,560 <br /> sq. ft. is the minimum lot area. The property consists of .66 acres or 28,614 sq. <br /> ft. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on August 17, 1998 <br /> and recommended approval on a vote of 6 to 0. <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
