MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Monday, November 7, 2011 <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Lili McMillan, Council Members Cynthia Bremer, Doug Franchot, Aaron Printup, and <br />Dave Rahn. Representing Staff were City Administrator Jessica Loftus, Finance Director Ron <br />Olson and City Clerk Lin Vee <br /> <br /> <br />Finance Director Olson stated the work session budget memo provided a detailed explanation of <br />changes that were made to the preliminary General Fund Expenditure Budget based on discussion at the <br />August 22, 2011 work session. Council discussed the changes and recommended no additional revisions <br />to the 2012 preliminary budget. <br /> <br />Olson noted the Truth in Taxation public hearing will be held on December 12, 2011 beginning at 6:00 <br />p.m. and provides an opportunity for residents to comment on the proposed budget, which will be <br />adopted at the regular Council meeting on December 12th. <br /> <br />Mayor McMillan noted the Orono Council will be meeting with the Long Lake City Council on November <br />29th at 6:30 p.m. to discuss underground infrastructure. <br /> <br />The meeting closed at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />________________________________________ _______________________________________ <br />Linda S.
