VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br /> <br />11. #11-3506 PUBLIC HEARING - ORONO PUBLIC SCHOOLS ISD 278, 685 OLD <br />CRYSTAL BAY ROAD NORTH - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - GRADING AND FILLING, <br />9:21 P.M. - 9:25 P.M. – RESOLUTION NO. 6051 <br /> <br />Curtis stated the Orono Schools intend to improve an area of the southernmost property on campus for a <br />new softball field. As a result of the City’s Old Crystal Bay Road project, there will be soil material <br />exported out of the roadway area. The school would like to utilize the excess material to improve the <br />grade to prepare for the new softball field. Due to the amount of material proposed, a conditional use <br />permit is required. <br /> <br />Planning Staff recommends approval of the CUP. All of the City Engineer’s requirements, including <br />erosion control measures, will be addressed with the administrative land alteration permit following <br />approval.
