Vee stated since the event is expected to attract over 300 people, the fee is $200 while <br />most special event permit fees are $50. <br /> <br />Loftus stated she also asked City Clerk Vee that same question and that the City Council can follow a <br />simple philosophy of requiring all organizations to pay the fee. <br /> <br />Rahn stated there is a reason for the fee schedule and that there needs to be uniformity regardless of the <br />organization that is hosting the event. <br /> <br />Rahn moved, Bremer seconded, to approve the gambling permit and liquor licenses listed above, <br />and to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 6167, a Resolution Approving a Lawful Gambling Application <br />for Exempt Permit Submitted by the Minnetonka Center for the Arts, and to deny the request from <br />the Orono Rotary to waive the special event permit fee of $200. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 1, Printup <br />opposed. <br /> <br />*18. BILLS <br /> <br />Bremer moved, Franchot seconded, to approve payment of the All Funds Account.
