2. The owner shall ensure that the propertv com�ly with all applicable codes <br /> regardin�fire, buildin�, and safet� <br /> 3. Short term rentals may be permitted at the owner's principal place of residence <br /> only. Verification may include voter re�istration, or driver's license. <br /> 4. The owner shall provide a twenty- four (24) hour emer e�ncy contact that will be <br /> available to respond to issues at the short term rental property within sixtv(60� <br /> minutes to complaints re a��the condition, operation, or conduct of occupants <br /> of a rental unit. <br /> 5. The short-term-rental property must have a visible house number easily seen from <br /> the street day or ni.� <br /> 6. The short term rental propertv shall be used only for overni�ht lod�in , <br /> accommodations They mav not be used for parties (weddin�, bachelor/ <br /> bachelorette), conferences or similar events. <br /> 7. All advertisin� for the short term rental shall include the City issued license <br /> number. <br /> 8. The primary overni�ht and davtime occupant of a short term rental unit must be <br /> an adult eighteen 18 vears of age or older This adult must provide a telephone <br /> number to the owner and shall be accessible to the owner by telephone at all <br /> times. <br /> 9. The owner shall rec�uire all occupants to agree to a minimum stay of three 3 <br /> consecutive ni� <br /> 10. The owner shall limit overnight occu�ancyrin a short-term rental unit to not <br /> exceed two 2 over the a e�persons per bedroom. <br /> 11. Two off street parkin�spaces shall be provided at minimum. The maximum <br /> number of vehicles allowed at a short-term rental property shall be limited to the <br /> number of available off street�arkin�spaces. <br /> 12. The owner of a short-term rental propertv shall provide sufficient trash collection <br /> containers and service to meet the demand of the occupants. <br /> 13. The owner must be a natural person and not any tvpe of corporation or <br /> �artnership. The owner's name must be on the deed to the property. <br /> 14. The Citv may conduct an inspection of the short term rental property as deemed <br /> necessarv or prudent includin�without limitation based upon an.�plaints or <br /> violations that occur or prior to a renewal of a permit. <br /> 15. The owner will be required to �rovide the citX and an��uests with the name <br /> and telephone number of a contact person who can be at the propertv in 60 <br /> minutes. The contact person can be the owner. <br /> (c) License period. Licenses shall expire December 31 of each year. <br /> SECTION 3.
