One of <br />the things the City accomplished with the Mediacom negotiations was a fiber connection to the city hall <br />building the new service contract will provide 20 times the band width at a slight cost savings. Loftus <br />stated the improved bandwidth will allow Staff to utilize computer systems including, the GIS system in a <br />faster manner. The new band width also opens up the door for new technologies and storage capacities. <br /> <br /> <br />*13. PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR/CITY ENGINEER <br /> <br />Levang moved, Bremer seconded, to approve the Public Works Director/City Engineer position for <br />advertisement. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br /> <br /> <br />*14. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT AND <br />ORGANIZATIONAL CHART <br /> <br />Levang moved, Bremer seconded, to appoint Andrew Mack to the position of Community <br />Development Director and to amend the organizational chart. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br /> <br /> <br />*15. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION FOR CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />Levang moved, Bremer seconded, finding that the performance evaluation for City Administrator <br />Jessica Loftus is satisfactory. <br /> <br /> <br />*16. MEDIACOM INTERNET SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Levang moved, Bremer seconded, to approve the 60-month service agreement with Mediacom for <br />30 Mbps internet services. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br /> <br /> <br />*17. LICENSES AND PERMITS <br /> <br />Garbage & Refuse Collector License <br /> <br />1.
