O1-2696 <br /> �VHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing <br /> under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> `VHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter"City Council")has <br /> adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development of land�vithin the <br /> City; and <br /> `VHEREAS,the City Council has considered the application for a subdivision of a <br /> a lot line rearran�ement by 1�lichael P.Baden and Jeannine B. Baden and H. `Vesley Wolverton and <br /> Elizabeth L. Wolverton, (hereinafter "the subdividers") of properties legally described as: <br /> Exhibit"A" <br /> `VHEREAS, the properties consists of t�vo developed parcels owned by the <br /> subdividers shown on EYhibit"A"; and <br /> `VHEREAS, after duP published and mailed notice in accordance «-ith Minnesota <br /> Statutes 462.358 et. seq. and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearin� on July 16, 2001, at��-hich time all persons desirin� to be heard <br /> concernin� this application�vere given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br /> �VHEREAS,the subdividers have completed all requirements of the City for a metes <br /> and bounds subdivision of a lot line rearran�ement for division and combination purposes,resultina <br /> in the relocation of the common lot boundary between the properties,as shown in the survey attached <br /> as EYhibit"B" resulting in a new le�al description for each lot as shown in Exhibit"C"; and <br /> `VHEREAS, the intent of the rearrangement is to create a building site to construct <br /> a garage on the south (3445 High Lane) property. <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br />
