ORONO COPY' <br /> The existing tank needs to be abandoned <br /> Two new 1000 gallon septic tanks and a new 1000 gallon lift station are to be installed. <br /> All tanks need to be insulated if there is less than two feet of cover over the top of the tanks.A filter <br /> installed on the second tank.Clean out must be installed on the end of the lateral for maintenance. <br /> A pumping chamber will need to be installed to lift the eftluent to the treatment area. T'he power supply and <br /> switches must be located outside the manhole and pumping chamber in a weatherproof enclosure. A <br /> warning device must be installed with light and sound devices;this is in case of a pump failure.The <br /> manifold and supply line must have back drainage to the pump chamber.The rock and fill materials must <br /> be clean.T'he sod layer below the entire mounded area must be turned over.Just break up the sod and be <br /> sure not to over work.Nothing other than grav water (laundrv,showers,etc.) Human water and <br /> toilet tissue should be disposed of into the seatic tanks.
