� <br /> I <br /> ����,� <br /> / O ��� <br /> � � <br /> < , ' �..�-`°. � ti �� <br /> � � �j � `� '" ,� �► <br /> � � �'�"�,; :•�y <br /> \� �v / u� � <br /> ���KEs Ft�Fji <br /> A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING <br /> SERGEANT JAMES CORNICK <br /> FOR HIS TWENTY EIGHT I'EARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE <br /> TO THE CITY AS A POLICE OFFICER <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> WHEREAS, James Cornick was appointed to the position of Police Officer on <br /> January l, 1986; and <br /> WHEREAS, James Cornick was the Orono School District Liaison Officer and <br /> D.A.R.E officer for several years; <br /> WHEREAS, James Cornick was assigned to investigations and provided valuable <br /> experience and played a significant role in the prosecution of manv criminal cases. <br /> WHEREAS, James Cornick was promoted to Police Sergeant in 2004. <br /> WHEREAS, his years of service as Police Officer and Sergeant have been <br /> characterized by his dedication to providing the highest quality police service to the city <br /> and its citizens; <br /> WHEREAS, James Cornick has provided service to the community in a fair, <br /> respectful, honest. trustwarthy, and selfless manner and; <br /> WHEREAS, James Cornick is resigning from his position as Police Officer <br /> effective January 31, 2014. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does <br /> hereby recognize and commend Sergeant James Cornick for his leadership, and dedicated <br /> service to the community as a Police Officer. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does hereby extend <br /> its best wishes to Sergeant James Cornick. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held this <br /> 13th day of January, 2014. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Rachel Dodge, City Clerk Lili Tod McMillan, Mayor <br />
