It contains a number of provisions a city may want to adopt.A city <br /> wishing to adopt any part of this toolkit should review the materials with the <br /> city attorney to deterinine which provisions and what language are best <br /> suited to the city's circumstances.Because provisions within this toolkit <br /> implicate state statutes and involve state and federa.l constitutional rights,the <br /> city attorney should review any modifications to ensure they conform to <br /> current law. <br /> This is an exclusive remedy for administrative traffic citations. That is,no <br /> staiutory or home rule charter city may use a different process for issuing <br /> such administrative traffic citations.A city may,however,issue other kinds <br /> of administrative citations pursuant to local ordinance for non-traff'ic matters <br /> such as liquor licensing ordinance violations,nuisance and animal ordinance <br /> violations, and so on. <br /> II.
