No more than one wind energy conversion system is permitted per <br /> parcel. <br /> 2. Height. In the RR-lA and RR-1B zoning districts, a maacimum hub height of <br /> 30 feet is allowed as a permitted accessory use. <br /> 3. Blade length. A maximum blade length of 15 feet is permitted. <br /> 4. Clearance. The minimum distance from the ground for the lowest point of a <br /> blade or any other moving part shall be 12 feet. <br /> 5. Roof mounting. Roof or wall mounted WECS are not <br /> permitted. <br /> 6. Setbacks. The base of the �•n�a *�•�'���� WECS tower shall be set back at least <br /> 300 feet from all property lines. Wind energy conversion systems shall not be <br /> installed in the front yard of any lot or in the side yard of a corner lot <br /> adjacent to a public right-of-way. Wind energy conversion systems shall not <br /> be located more than 150 feet from the principal structure on the property. <br /> 7. Easements. Wind energy conversion systems shall not encroach on public <br /> drainage, utility roadway or trail easements. <br /> 8. Noise. Wind energy conversion systems shall comply with Minnesota <br /> Pollution Control Agency standards outlined in Minnesota Rules Chapter <br /> 7030 at all property lines. <br /> 9. Screening. Wind energy conversion systems are exempt from the screening <br /> requirements for the district in which they are located. <br /> Page 2 of 6 <br />
