Proposed is a rezoning from RR-1B, One Family Rural Residential District to RPUD <br /> Residential Planned Unit Development District for creation of 7 single family residential lots; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 18, 2013 the Deveioper filed an incomplete � <br /> subdivision application with the City for preliminary approval of a 7-lot residential plat of the <br /> Property, which application was subsequently considered as complete upon Developer's <br /> submittal of additional materials on November 8, 2013; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due�published and mailed notice in accardance with MinnesoYa <br /> Statutes 462.358 et, seq. and the City of Orono Zoning�and Subdivision Codes, the Orono <br /> Planning Comrnission held a public heari.n�for the application and reviewed it on November 18, <br /> 2013, at which tune aIl persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the <br /> opporhtnity to speak tlzereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on November 18, 2013 recommended on <br /> a vote of 5-0 that the Council grant rezoning to RPUD Residential Planned Unit Development <br /> District and grant general concept plan and praliminary plat approval subject to a number of <br /> conditions a.nd recommendations, inoluding additional landscaping along Willow Drive to reduce <br /> Page 1 of 13 <br />
