Tuesday, February 17, 2015. <br /> The enclosed tabulation contains a complete accounting of all bids. The accepted low bids for <br /> materials are determined by availability and location of materials. Traveling distance to a <br /> supplier is considered a cost factor when determining a low bid. It is possible to award the low <br /> bid to more than one contractor when considering materials and equipment. The city divides the <br /> work accordingly among these low bidders. In the event the low bidder is not available,the City <br /> reserves the right to purchase from the next alternate. <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council awaxd the bids, as indicated by asterisk, for the calendar <br /> year 2015. <br /> COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br /> Consider a motion to award the year 2015 Materials Bids. <br />
