The total cost of the project was estimated to be $123,647, which equated to $20,608 <br /> per unit. <br /> Based on the petition, the City has completed construction of a sanitary sewer main and service <br /> stubs. The total cost of the project has been calculated to be $100,587.50, which equates to <br /> $16,764.58 per unit. <br /> Assessment agreements were prepared for each property and five of the six have been signed and <br /> returned to the City. The only agreement that has not been signed and returned is for 1485 Green <br /> Trees Road. Since the project was approved with the intent of assessing all of the project costs <br /> to the benefiting properties, a public hearing has been scheduled for January 12`h to accept public <br /> comment and consider adopting the attached assessment role. The proposed assessments are for <br /> a ten year term with an interest rate of 4.5%. <br /> COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br /> Adoption of the attached resolution declaring the cost to be assessed and ordering the preparation <br /> of the proposed assessment for the Green Trees Road Sanitary Sewer Extension Project. <br />
