Co. , MN
This On-Site Sewage Treatment System is Designed for a Type l, four
bedroom home in accordance with the Minnesota Pollution Control
Agency Chapter 7080 and local ordinances .
The soils on this site are SCS soils mapped - HeB - Heyder sandy loam
& LrB - Lester loam. A seasonally high water table was not present
in the area of the proposed system.
This site has an existing non-conforming system due to a seasonally
high water table less than 36" below the bottom of the treatment
area, fill soils & in a drainage pattern. The existig tanks are
recorderd at the city as block type and will need to be abandoned,
pumped & filled with soil .
The soils at a depth of 30" have a percolation rate averaging
11. 5 min/inch. A Standard Trench System may be installed.
A pumping chamber will need to be installed to lift the effluent
to the treatment area.
The power supply and switches must be located outside the manhole and
pumping chamber in a weather proof enclosure. A warning device must
be installed with a light and sound device, this is in case of a pump
failure. Mercury floats are a good method. The supply line pipe
must have back drainage to the pumping chamber.
All neighboring wells are located greater than 75 ' away from the
proposed treatment area.
CONT ' D
