The City acquired the adjacent lots from Hennepin County via tax <br /> forfeiture, retaining them for conservation and drainage purposes. The southerly of the <br /> two lots contains a protected wetland. The northerly of the two lots contains a steep <br /> (3: 1) wooded slope. The steep slope begins just 10-20 feet south of your house. <br /> Any expansion of your home toward the slope and wetland would have potential negative <br /> impacts on the wetland as well as on the natural views across the wetland from County Road <br /> 15.
