Project includes privately owned boulder landscape retaining walls that will be <br /> installed at 3315 Graham Hill Road. <br /> 2. Site drawing submitted shows the wall layout relative to boundaries, buildings and <br /> other site features. Deviation from this layout is not approved. <br /> 3. A geotechnical report and recommendations were not provided. Soil properties <br /> for the retaining wall were assumed in the calculations submitted. <br /> 4. Plar�s and calculations were prepared by a professional engineer, licensed in <br /> Minnesota (#48216), and plan content appears appropriate to direct retaining wall <br /> construction. <br /> 5. Calculations for global/slope stability were not submitted. Applicant shall have <br /> actual site conditions evaluated by a qualified design professional to determine <br /> whether or not global stability analysis is required. Submit determination in <br /> writing. <br /> 6. Applicant shall ensure that��Suggested Quality Assurance Provisions" indicated on <br /> the plans are followed, including: <br /> a. Actual soil bearing capacity is equal to or greater than 1,550 psf <br /> b. Construction shall be supervised by a qualified engineer or technician <br /> c. Foundation soils are inspected and are suitable, and replaced if unsuitable <br /> d. Determine whether additional drainage is required and provided <br /> e. Backfill material shall be tested for moisture and compaction density (every <br /> 2'vertically and 100'to 200'c/c), and approved by the Engineer <br /> f. Wall elevations, grades and back slope are verified to conform to design <br /> Submit documentation verifying conformance with quality assurance provisions to <br /> City. <br />
