The plans propose to build a single family home with an attached garage. We <br /> have the following comments with regards to engineering matters: <br /> • There appears to be a discrepancy between the grading plan and the landscaping plan <br /> regarding the design and layout of the retaining walls located at the northwest corner of <br /> the garage. <br /> • The applicant should provide evidence that minor grading will be allowed on adjacent <br /> lots to construct lot line drainage swales. <br /> • Engineered design and details should be submitted for review and approval for all <br /> retaining walls over four in height, and for all tiered walls with a separation of less than <br /> two times the wall height. <br /> • The proposed grading plan is consistent with the overall development grading plan and is <br /> acceptable from an engineering standpoint. <br /> • This project will disturb more than 100 CY of material. Sediment and erosion control <br /> information meeting the requirements of Orono's City Code 79-7(c)(2) must be <br /> submitted.
