For training of dogs for clubs or individuals, which <br /> permit is �alid only on land described in the permit by <br /> persons with the consent of the owner or lessee thereof. <br /> B. Permits , Occasional Up to 120 Days. For <br /> control of pests in commercial or agricultural situations, <br /> permits may be granted up to a maximum of 120 days as established <br /> by the Administrator to persons or clubs meeting all the the <br /> following criteria: <br /> 1. For control of pests, vermin, rodents, or ther animal <br /> nuisances, such as deer hunting by bow and arrow during <br /> appropriate season, or other animals that are a demonstrated <br /> nuisance. <br /> 2. Where there are no other appropriate methods available. <br /> 3. Demonstrated need for a longer duration of time such as <br /> length of game season or protection of crops during the <br /> growing season. <br /> The use of bow and arrow under this section wi 11 be al lowed • <br /> on an occasional basis to remove problematic animals including <br /> game animals is subject to the following circumstances: <br /> A. There is a demonstrated nuisance of that animal to <br /> that property owner. <br /> B. Property owner has specifically given written <br /> permission to a hunter and that hunter has the <br /> appropriate State hunting permit. <br /> C. That no discharging be done within 100 feet of any <br /> property line, within 100 feet of any buildings and 20fd <br /> feet of any livestock. <br /> D. Discharge for purposes of this section shall only <br /> be done from an elevated stand that is a minimum of <br /> four (4) feet off the ground. <br /> E. Can only be done during the appropriate season. <br /> F. The hunter receives no compensation for the removal <br /> service apart for the retention of animals killed. <br /> C. Permit - Baker Park. An occasional permit valid <br /> for a period not to exceed a total of 3 days in any one year <br /> shall be issued to Hennepin Parks for the discharge of shot gunds <br /> in hunting of game animals in Baker Park. In addition to other <br /> applicable conditions outlined in this Subdivision other <br /> applicable conditions outlined in the Subdivision 7 (A) through <br /> 7(C) the Park District must notify all abutting property owners <br /> by letter 10 days in advance of the proposed hunt and that <br /> appropriate signage be posted around the Park Reserve District <br />
