Subd. 10 . Business Driveways, Ap roaches and Turnarounds . <br /> A. Only one business driveway shall be allowed per <br /> development unless a greater number of driveways <br /> are approved by the City, or approved as part of <br /> the site plan r:view. The business driveway <br /> approach shall not exceed the width of the <br /> access road or 32 feet at the property line, <br /> which ever is less in a business or industrial <br /> district. The curb cut shall not exceed the <br /> width of the driveway approach at the property <br /> line by more than 20 feet unless approved as <br /> part of a site plan. In a residential district , <br /> the curb cut shall not exceed the width of the <br /> driveway agproach at the property line by more <br /> than 10 feet unless approved as part of the site <br /> plan. <br /> B. All business driveways and driveway approaches <br /> shall be paved with asphaltic concrete or <br /> equivalent material . Portland cement concrete <br /> will only be allowed outside of the public road <br /> right-of-caa�•. <br /> C. Loading docks , ramps and vehicular entrances <br /> shall be located in such a manner that backing <br /> onto and m: neuvering within the public road <br /> right-of-way is eliminated and in such a manner <br /> that driveways greater in width than that <br /> specified by this cr.aoter shall not �e recju : red . <br /> D. No portion of a drive�aay approach, except the <br /> curb return shall be constructed within 100 feet <br /> of a corner in a business , comcTiercial or <br /> industrial area, or within 100 feet of a corner <br /> in a resider.tial district . <br /> E. Driveway turnarounds shall be required on all <br /> driveways or driveway approaches entering onto a <br /> State highway, County road or a collector <br /> roadway and on all entrances to public roads <br /> within the City were deemed necessary by the <br /> Public Works Director based upon traffic counts , <br /> sight distances, street grades and other <br /> relevant factors . Such requirements shall be <br /> stated on any permit issued by the Public Works <br /> Director pursuant to this ordinance . <br /> F. Driveways must be 10 feet from the side property <br /> line of a parcel of land except if drive��ay is <br /> shared by two parcels of land. . <br /> -8- <br />
