Organization & Enforcement. The organization of the <br /> Building Department and enforcement of the Code shall be as <br /> established by Chapter 2 of the Uniform Building Code 1985 Edition. <br /> The Code shall be enforced within the corporate limits of the City and <br /> extraterritorial Iimits permitted by State Statutes, 1984. <br /> The Building & Zoning Department shall be the Building Ccde <br /> Department of the City of Orono. <br /> The Administrative Authority shall be the State Certified <br /> "Building Official" . <br /> The Appointing Authority shall designate the Building Official <br /> for the Jurisdiction of Orono. <br /> Subd. 3. <br /> A. Permits, Inspections, and Fees. Permits inspections and <br /> collection of fees shall be provided in Chapter 3 of the Uniform <br /> Building Code 1982 Edition. <br /> B. Surcharge. In addition to the permit fee required by Item A, <br /> the applicant shall pay a surcharge to be remitted to the <br /> Minnesota Department of Administration as prescribed by Minnesota <br /> Statutes 1984, Section 16B.70. <br /> Section 4. Violations and Penalties. Shall be in keeping with <br /> Minnesota Statues 609.033 - 609.034 which provides for a maximum fine <br /> of $700.00. <br /> Section 5. Effectived Date of Ordinance.
