The Director shall <br /> utilize the personne , services , equipment, aupplies and facili- <br /> ties of existing departments and agencies of the City to the <br /> maximum extent practicable. The City Administration and all <br /> officers and�personnel of all such departments and agencies � <br /> shall cooperate with and extend such sezvices and facilities <br /> to the E�c►ergency Services Agency and to the governor upon re- � <br /> quest. � <br /> suBD. 7 E�mer e_�nc Personnel. The Director shall , in <br /> cooperation with existing City epartments and agencies affected , <br /> organize , recruit and train air-raid wardens , auxiliary police, <br /> auxiliary firemen, emergency medical personnel, and any other <br /> personnel that may be required on a volunteer basis to carry out <br /> ' the emergency services plans of the City and the state . The <br /> Director may dismiss any emergency services volunteer at any <br /> time and require him to surrender any equipment and identifica- <br /> tion furnished by the City. <br /> SUBD. 8 Emer enc Facilities . The Director shall provide <br /> and equip emergency ospita s , casualty stations , ambulances , <br /> canteens , evacuation centers , and other facilities , or conveyances <br /> for the care of injured or homeless persons . <br /> SUBD. 9 Coordination of Efforts . The Director shall co- <br /> - • , ordinate the City emergency services effozts with those of the <br /> state and federal governments , and shall carry out all orders, <br /> rules and regulations issued by the governor with reference to • <br /> emergency services. <br /> � sUBD. 10 Control Center. � Consistent with the emergency <br /> services plan , the Director ahall provide and equip in the City <br /> a control center and, if necessary, an auxiliary control center <br /> • to be used during a civil emergency as headquarters for direction <br /> and coordination of emergency services forces. He shall arrange <br /> for installation at the control center of communication systems <br /> with heads of emergency services divisions , the stations and <br /> operating units of municipal �services and other agencies concerned <br /> with emergency services and for communication with other communi- <br /> ties and control centers within the surrounding area and with <br /> the federal and state agencies concerned. <br /> SUBD�_ 11 Civil Emergencies . The Director shall direct and <br /> control the general operations of ail City emergency services forces <br /> during a civil emergency in conformity with controlling regulations <br /> and instructions of state civil defense authorities . The heads of <br /> City departments and agencies shall be governed by his orders in <br /> respect thereto. � <br /> � SUBD. 12 Reports.
