�,' �. <br /> � ' <br /> � <br /> f <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 29, SECOND SERIES <br /> An Ordinance to amend Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.20, <br /> Subdivision 3 (G) to al low non-rental guest apartments within a principal <br /> residence as a conditional use, and ta amend Section 10.02 by incarporating <br /> a definition of "Guest Apartment". <br /> The City of Orono Ordains: <br /> The Municipal Code of the City of Orono is amended by adding <br /> Ordinance No. 29, Second Series: <br /> Section 1. Orono Municipal Code Section 10.20, Subdivision 3 (G) is <br /> hereby repealed and the following language substituted in its place: <br /> G. i) Guest Houses. A separate dwelling constructed on an <br /> existing undivided lot for the sole use of the occupants of the <br /> principal buildings, including their domestic employees or their <br /> non-paying guests. All regular lot requirements shal 1 be met by <br /> the guest house. <br /> ii ) Non-rental Guest Apartments. An apartment within the <br /> principal residence structure on a lot for �he sole use of the <br /> occupants of the priricipal residence, including their domestic <br /> employees or non-paying guests. There shall be at least one <br /> access door to the apartment from within the principal structure, <br /> and such door shall be the primary access to the apartment. <br /> Application for such a guest apartment shall address the concerns <br /> of parking, sewage treatment, entryway and interior access <br /> method. Such apartments shall not have utilities metered <br /> separately from the principal residence utilities and shal 1 not <br /> have a separate street address. <br /> �ection 2. Orono Municipal Code Section 10.02 is hereby amended by <br /> adding the following definition: <br /> "Guest Apartment" - An apartment within a principal residence <br /> structure for the sole use of the occupants of the principal <br /> residence, including their domestic employees or their non-paying <br /> guests, with at least one access door to the apartment from <br /> within the principal structure, such door being the primary <br /> access to the apartment. <br /> Section 3 - Orono Municipal Code Section 10.20, Subdivision 3 (D) is <br /> hereby repealed and the following language substituted in its place: <br />
