ORONO COPY <br /> The soils at a depth of 12"have a percolation rate averaging 5 MPI. <br /> The existing septic tank may be used.A new 500 gallon septic tank must be installed in series to meet tank <br /> capacity code. <br /> All new tanks need to be insulated if there is less than two feet of cover over the top of the tanks and a filter <br /> installed on the second tank.Clean outs must be installed on the end of the laterals for maintenance. <br /> A new 1000 gallon lift station must be installed to lift the ef�luent to the treatment area.The power supply <br /> and switches must be located outside the manhole and pumping chamber in a weatherproof enclosure.A <br /> warning device must be instalied with light and sound devices;this is in case of a pump failure.The <br /> manifoid and supply line must have back drainage to the pump chamber.The rock and fill materiats must <br /> be clean.The sod layer below the entire mounded area must be turned over.Just break up the sod and be <br /> sure not to over work. <br /> Nothing other than �rav water,(laundrv,showers.etc.)Human water and toilet tissue should be <br /> disposed of ioto the seatic tanks.
