It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure proper means and methods are followed and that the final <br /> in place product is adequate. <br /> 1. The contractor is to work with the concrete supplier to obtain a mix design which accounts for the conditions <br /> expected. Use of extra cement, early-strength concrete, and acceterators are recommended at temperatures <br /> below 20 degrees F. <br /> 2. Concrete is to be delivered to the site in a timely manner. <br /> 3. Placement of concrete earlier in the day to take advantage of latent heat of sunlight is adviced. <br /> 4. Do not add additional water. Using�rvater-reducing admixtures is recomrnended when required. <br /> 5. Forms are to be free of snow and ice. Do not place concrete in contact with frozen ground ,snow, or ice. <br /> 6. Preheating of rebar is not required, however it is to be free of frost,snaw,and ice. <br /> 7.
