<br /> <br /> <br />6. Well Quotes. The City solicited quotes from three local well drilling contractors and received <br />two quotes. TL Stevens Well Company was the low quote for $11,141.00. <br /> <br />7. Park Rules. The Park Commission and Staff revised the Park Rules. (See Exhibit D) In <br />addition to the rules the Park Commission and Staff are developing a list of dog park etiquette <br />suggestions to be displayed on park signs and handouts. <br /> <br />8. Ordinance. To accommodate an off leash dog park, two sections of the City Code require <br />amendment, a section of code specifically addressing off leash parks should be added and the <br />Fee Schedule amended. The recommended ordinance changes are based on existing ordinances <br />in other municipalities with off leash dog parks and feedback from the Council at the 25 April <br />council meeting. (See Exhibit E) <br /> <br />9. Park Operations. A draft Dog Park Operations is included at Exhibit F. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />1. Move to accept the quote from Northern Specialties, Inc for 79,754.00 for construction of <br />fencing and gates from the park. <br />2. Move to accept the quote from TL Stevens for $11,141.00 for a construction of a well. <br />3. Move to authorize staff to procure and install the items included in the design and cost <br />estimate. <br />4. Move to adopt the ordinance amendments pertaining to dogs in an off leash park. <br /> <br /> <br />
