<br /> Page 1 of 1 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br />MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING APPLICATION FOR EXEMPT PERMIT <br />OF THE ORONO FOOTBALL BOOSTERS <br />FOR A GAMBLING ACTIVITY <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Football Boosters have submitted an application to <br />conduct lawful gambling activities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Football Boosters propose to conduct home game <br />gambling activity (raffle) as part of its fundraising activities at the Orono High School; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Football Boosters are required to obtain approval of the <br />gambling activity from the city in which the activity will occur; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono has no objection to the conduct of lawful <br />gambling by the applicant, in accordance with law, at the designated location, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does <br />hereby approve the application of the Orono Football Boosters to conduct a gambling activity <br />(raffle) at the Orono High School, 795 Old Crystal Bay Road N., during the 2016 Orono Football <br />home games. <br /> <br />Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 22nd day of August, <br />2016. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ ____________________________________ <br />Diane, City Clerk Lili Tod McMillan, Mayor <br />
