July 5, 2016 <br />City of Orono <br />Attn: Adam Edwards <br />PO Box 66 <br />Orono, MN 55323 <br />RE: Brown Road Trail Construction Phase Services <br />Dear Adam, <br />As requested, we have prepared a scope of services and estimated fee for the construction phase of the <br />Brown Road Trail Improvements Project. <br />Scope of Services <br />Public Coordination/Communications <br />Bolton & Menk is committed to supporting the coordination requirements of this project with qualified <br />staff and will proactively engage affected property owners and the general public with timely and <br />accurate information. <br />Construction Observation <br />Part time construction observation will be provided. Duties of the Construction Observer will include the <br />following: <br />Attendance at the pre-construction meeting and all construction-related meetings <br />Serve as a liaison between the City and the contractor <br />Review of the completed work to determine if the project is in general conformance with the <br />plans and specifications <br />Maintenance of construction documentation <br />Communication with affected property owners, as necessary, to address their construction-related <br />concerns and issues <br />Construction Administration <br />Construction administration duties will include the following: <br />Administering a pre-construction meeting <br />Administering project meetings <br />Preparation of pay estimates <br />Contractor Communications <br />Liaison with City Staff and Council
