A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT GOLF COURSE DONATIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Orono is generally authorized to accept donations of real and personal <br />property pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 465.03 for the benefit of its citizens; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The following persons have offered to contribute the cash amounts set forth below <br />to the City: <br /> <br /> Name of Donor Amount <br />Claudia and Doug Whiteley <br />Anna Hill <br />Marsha and Joe Rokke <br />Tim Bubany <br />Tammie and Kelly Lowe <br />Martha Head <br /> 550.00 <br /> 15.00 <br /> 50.00 <br /> 100.00 <br /> 550.00 <br /> 1,100.00 <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, All such donations have been contributed for the maintenance and improvement of <br />Orono Public Golf Course, as allowed by law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donations offered. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of Orono, Minnesota that <br />the City acknowledges and accepts the donations as listed the for the maintenance and <br />improvement of the Orono Public Golf Course. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono on May 23, 2016. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Attest: Approved: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Diane Tiegs, City Clerk Lili McMillan, Mayor <br />
