Following receipt of this information, an on-site <br /> inspection was conducted by the City's contract engineer at which time it was determined that <br /> retaining walls were added to the site which were not shown upon the approved site plan. <br /> Upon further review of the retaining walls on the as-built survey, it appears that part of the <br /> constructed retaining wall on the north side of the house was partially constructed in a drainage <br /> and utility easement and below the minimum 5 ft. side property line non-encroachment retaining <br /> wall setback according to Section 78-1405 of the City of Orono Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Please relocate the retaining wall to eliminate the encroachment into the easement and which <br /> meets the required 5 ft. setback prior to issuance of an occupancy permit. <br /> The above information is required in order for the plan review to continue.
