CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 6 6 <br />A RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING THE PLAT OF TANAGER ESTATES <br />- FILE #16-3749116-3967 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter "City Council") <br />has adopted subdivision and land development regulations for the orderly, economic and safe <br />development of land within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, on July 22, 7015 Micbael Steadman (hereinafter the "Developer") <br />on behalf of property owners Irwin L. Jacobs and Alexandra Jacobs (hereinafter the "Owners") <br />submitted an application for approval of a Preliminary Plat for property located at 1700 <br />Shoreline Drive in the City of Orono and legally described in Exhibit A (attached); and <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Planuing Commission held public hearings on the <br />proposed subdivision on August 17, 2015 and again on September 21, 2015 and voted 6 in favor, <br />0 against to recommend approval of the Preliminary Plat; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the proposal at its regular meetings held <br />on October 12, 2015, October 26, 2015, and November 23, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS, at its regular meeting on December 14, 2015 the Orono City <br />Council granted approval for the Preliminary Plat per the findings and conditions of Resolution <br />No. 6569; and <br />WHEREAS, on September 20, 2016 the Developer made formal application for <br />final plat approval for the Property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Developer has agreed to comply with all conditions of <br />Resolution No. 6569 and has completed or has agreed to complete all other requirements of the <br />platting regulations ofthe City including: <br />1. Completion of all platting requirements and conditions of Preliminary Plat Resolution <br />No. 6569. <br />2. Dedication on the plat of perimeter Drainage and Utility Easements as required in <br />Resolution No. 6569. <br />3. Designation and dedication on the plat of wetlands subject to City and other agency <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
