• I <br /> i <br /> i <br /> ATTACHMEN'I'B <br /> STaRMWATER FACILI'X'X'MAINTENANCE <br /> These terzz�s apply to the stormwater facilitics constructed pursuar►t to Minnehaha <br /> Creek Watershed Disirict permit application number QG-046_ <br /> WHEREAS, application has been made for a permit from the MCWD pursuant <br /> to MCWD Rule N, Sta�nwater Mana�emeni;and <br /> � <br /> WH��AS,the property that is the sub}ect of the permit is lega[]y described in � <br /> the Declaration into which this Attachment is ir�cozporated,ax�d the facilities on the <br /> property to which these mainter�ance requirements apply a.re as follows: <br /> I <br /> Stormwater Pond `' <br /> Rain Garden <br /> WH��AS, MCWb Rule N grovides that a maintenance agreem�nt shall b� <br /> su�mitted for starmwater treatment ppnds,outlet stn�ctures for such ponds,cu�verts, <br /> outfall structures and�11 other stormw�ter f�cilities,and that the maintenanoe agreement <br /> shall specify methods,schedule and responsible parties for maintenance artd must include <br /> at a r�inimum, the elements contained in the District's Maintenance Agreement Form. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> 1. The property owner shail inspect the stormwater retention and treatment <br /> basin(s)at a minimum of onee a year#o dctermine if the basin's retention and trealrnenC <br /> characteristiGs are adequate. A starage treatment basin will be considered inadequate if <br /> sediment has decreased the wet storage volurne by %�of its origrnal design volume. <br /> Based on this inspection, if tk�e storrnwater basin�s)is identifec�for sediment clear�.out, <br /> the property owner shal] restvre the basin(s)to its origi�ai design contours within ane <br /> y�ar of the inspeotion date, <br /> 2. The praperty owner shall inspect the grit chambers, snmp cateh basins, <br /> sump marlholes,outIet structures,culverts, outfall struciures or other starmwater facilities <br /> �'or the project en the spring and fa�l of each�ear. The property owner shail remove all <br /> sediment and debris during th� inspections such that Che$torzziwatez�a�ilzties operate as <br /> designed and permitted. <br /> 3. �.ain gardens must be kept clean of excess sediFnent and debris. Hea]thy <br /> plant growth must be meintained in the rain garde�ts by removing dead vegetation in the <br /> spring of each year. <br /> 4.
