SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT – LONG LAKE ROWING CLUB, Continued) <br /> <br />McMillan indicated she can make any guarantees but that Staff will be speaking with Long Lake. <br /> <br />Bremer moved, Levang seconded, to table the special event permit request from Todd Wilson <br />pending a decision by the Long Lake City Council, and to direct that the applicant submit an <br />updated application showing the exact location of the launch. VOTE: Ayes 3, Nays 1, Printup <br />opposed. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT, CONTINUED <br /> <br />Loftus stated a group of volunteers have organized a golf scramble for Saturday, July 19, as well as a full <br />day of activities to celebrate the 90-year anniversary of the golf course and to raise funds. Loftus <br />indicated there will be some information regarding the event on the City’s website. <br /> <br />Loftus reported the review scheduled for next Monday by the Metropolitan Council of the Lakeview <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment has been suspended at the City’s request so Staff can review the EAW <br />worksheet, which is expected to be completed later in May. Loftus stated that review process will begin <br />again once Staff has had a chance to review that. <br /> <br />Loftus stated last week the police officers who were involved in the November officer-involved shooting <br />appeared before the grand jury. The officers provided testimony and the City was informed that the grand <br />jury took action in the City’s favor, there will be no changes brought against the police officers. <br /> <br />Loftus stated the City had its bond rating call with Moody’s regarding the May 27 bond sale. Loftus <br />commended Finance Director Ron Olson on the excellent job he has done with the City’s upcoming bond <br />sale. <br /> <br />Loftus noted road restrictions were lifted last Friday. <br /> <br />Bremer asked if the signs had been removed. <br /> <br />Struve indicated they all should be. <br /> <br /> <br />*10. GOLF COURSE DONATIONS – RESOLUTION NO. 6404 <br /> <br />Bremer moved, Printup seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 6404, a Resolution to Accept Golf <br />Course Donations. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
