PC Exhibit C <br /> August 21, 2012 <br /> Dear Planning Commission and City Council Members, <br /> � We are requesting a hard cover variance for our property located at 3585 Frederick <br /> Street, Orono, MIV 55391. <br /> We moved into the house in December 20p8. Since purchasing the property our <br /> family dynamic has changed which requires children,grandchildren and family <br /> members to stay with us for extended periods of time. For this reason we need <br /> additional space in our home. <br /> Additionally our current garage is substandard for a lake house. There is virtually <br /> no space to fit two cars in the current garage along with all the required lawn <br /> equipment and other household items. Our plan iricludes a 3 car garage addition <br /> which we find necessary to properly store our cars,bikes, and lake/yard equipment. <br /> Our goal is to keep our exterior neat and orderly for respect for our surrounding <br /> neighbors. �A'' . <br /> As you will see on the attached plan and survey we will not be increasing the <br /> hardcover on this property. In fact we will be reducing our hardcover by 186 <br /> square feet from the current amount. <br /> The new garage addition will also not be affecting any line of site from our <br /> surrounding neighbors. Additionally new garage addition will also not affect any <br /> drainage or grading around the house due to the new structure will be place over <br /> the existing blacktop driveway. <br /> Please consider this variance with those points in mind.
