Brady and Lyi1n A. Brady, husband and wife <br /> (hereinafter "t11e applicauts") are the owners of the property located at 3555 Frederick <br /> Street within the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 12, Blocic 2,Navan�e, Heiulepin County, Minnesota <br /> (hereinafter the"property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono <br /> for a variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-350 (b) to allow tlle <br /> construction of au attached garage aiid a half stoiy over the existing l�ome 5.5' from the <br /> side lot line where 10' is required and 5.5' currently exists; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Oroilo <br /> for a variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1288 (b) to allow 2,816 s.f. or <br /> 35% hardcover within the 75'-250' setbacic zone where 25% is normally allowed and <br /> 2,485 s.f. or 30.9% currently exists, in conjunction with the addition of an attached <br /> garage and half story addition. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br /> Orono, Miiulesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #06-3172. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1C One Family Lakeshore Residential <br /> Zoning District which requires a minimum of 0.5 acre in area and a <br /> minimtun lot width of 100'. <br /> 3. The Plaiu�ing Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing <br /> held on February ?l, 2006 and Nlarch 20, 2006 and recommended <br />
