t . � � <br /> ���� CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> y`��-�x R�,`'� No. +� 6 7 �� <br /> F5H0 <br /> A RESOLUTION ORDERING <br /> REPAIR OR REMOVAL <br /> OF NUISANCE CONDITIONS <br /> WHEREAS,the Building Official for the City of Orono has attempted without success to <br /> have the owner of certain property remedy the nuisance and hazardous condition of the uninhabited <br /> house situated on property at 325 Crestview Avenue, Orono, Minnesota located in the County of <br /> Hennepin ("Subject Property"); and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council has deterinined that the building on the Subject Property <br /> constitutes a nuisances per Orono City Code Section 70-4, and is subject to abatement. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The City has fully considered all evidence relating to the code violations at the <br /> Subject Property. Said evidence includes (i) a letter dated August 19,2016 from the <br /> City of Orono's Building Official to the property owner stating the numerous <br /> hazardous conditions and City Code violations requiring immediate attention; and <br /> (ii) additional photographs taken 9/6/2016. <br /> 2. After fully considering all of the reports,photographs, documents,and other <br /> evidence pertaining to the code violations at the Subject Property,the City of Orono <br /> finds: <br /> a. Wendy Sullivan is the owner of the Subject Property. <br /> b. The Subject Property is unsecured from trespass because the garage door <br /> is open and has been since at least July 15, 2015. <br /> c. The City of Orono has notified the owner of the code violations on numerous <br /> occasions and most recently on August 19,2016. <br /> d. The Subject Property, which is located in Hennepin County, is vacant and <br /> deemed a nuisance within the meaning of Orono Ordinances 70-4. <br /> 3. City Staff is directed to abate the nuisance by covering the garage door opening with <br /> plywood or similar sturdy covering. <br /> �sasba�� 1 <br />
