Mike ---- Our landscaping contractor (Troy Baker with Hardrock Hardscapes) met with you this morning to <br /> discuss his proposed plan for a patio underneath our deck with a rain garden. It is his understanding and our <br /> understanding that the proposed rain garden design/plan eliminates the need for us to have a permeable paver <br /> patio. Can you please verify that this is correct? Would a solid patio with a rain garden eliminate the solid <br /> patio from our hardcover calculations? <br /> Also, during his meeting with you, he mentioned to me this evening that he discussed our garage service door <br /> stairs. We need a set of exterior steps to get down to grade. Can we pour a small footing for the steps as long <br /> as the footing location(s) do not extend beyond the poured concrete window well?
