We do not have a form. You will simply need to put your
specific request in writing to me with copies of deeds for all properties to be involved and the City will make a formal
combination request with Hennepin County, I cannot advise on any property tax payment issues.
Thank you - Melanie
Melanie Curtis 952.249.4627 ' mcurtis@ci.orono.mn.us
From: John Nielsen [mailto:johnnCQbdmnlaw.com]
Sent: Wednesday, December 31, 2014 3:41 PM
To: Melanie Curtis
Subject: RE: U.S. Bank-Levang Lot Line Rearrangement/ B&D 10201
Melanie,
I spoke on the 17th to Soren Mattick of Campbell Knutson who looked into our proposed conveyance. As I understand it, it
is his opinion that the City won't require any lot split application or process. I will simply need to provide the county with a
lot combination letter indicating which tax parcels the remainder of Outlot A will be added to. He also mentioned that in
order to do the lot combination, we will have to pay property taxes in full before the county will let this go through, so if we
do this in the new year U.S. Bank will need to pre-pay some taxes. I think he was going to have you follow up with me. Is
this an accurate summary of the City's take on this issue? If so, I will not plan on submitting the subdivision approval
documents we discussed previously. Do you have a form for the "lot combination letter" that you could send me?
Thanks,
John F.
