The survey is not to scale.
2. Should the application also include hardcover calculations?
3. There is a retaining wall called out on the SW corner of the pool deck. Is this a proposed retaining wall or an
existing wall? If it is being proposed, the top of wall (TW) and bottom of wall (BW) should be shown. Any wall
over 4' in height and not separated by 2x the height of the upper wall (as measured from the face of the upper
wall to the back of the lower wall), wili need to be designed by a registered professional engineer. If when I
perform my as-built site review it does not meet the requirements, the applicant will be required to have an
engineer sign off on the construction after-the-fact.
4. The survey should show the location of the silt fence.
5. Should the survey also show the alternate location of the septic system?
Jesse Struve, PE
Director of Public Works/City Engineer
City of Orono
(952) 249-4661 - Direct
(952) 249-4616- Fax
www.ci.orono.mn.us
1
